Still no view from The Pier, but here is a view of it for you from the Central Promenade. I’m not sure what sort of works are being carried out on The Pier, but it appears to require a lot of scaffolding!
The Sun was out on Wednesday, as you can see from the photograph above, but was also very windy. The donkeys were plodding up and down the beach, seemingly unimpressed by the horses striding more gracefully on a parallel course. The wind hadn’t put off the crazy and miniature golfers, who were out in force [even I ventured onto the Oddballs crazy golf course] and I saw my first kite of 2015. I didn’t see any one dog walking, but two chaps with a dog were having a cup of tea outside Olivers [despite the wind a number of people, including myself, opted to take their tea outside in the fresh air].
