Winchester is full of surprises. I spotted this inspired portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in a shop window on the High Street. What a great idea! I was in Winchester to break up a journey between Poole and London Waterloo, tick Winchester Cathedral off my list of cathedrals I have been meaning to see and have my dinner at “The Royal Oak”. Walking back to the station, quite satisfied with my visit, I spotted this portrait; the cherry on the cake. Is it a one off? I wish I’d noticed the notice up in the window telling me all about the Jelly Belly portrait at the time! I suppose the not noticing the notice adds a sense of mystery to the whole experience.
Keep up the good work whoever glued all those jelly beans on!
