This photograph was taken on the 28th September 2005, on my first visit to All Saints’ Church. York was a regular family day out destination, but 2005 marked my first solo expedition to the city. This trip was inspired by a book by Mike Harding entitled, “A Little Book of Stained Glass“, in which this depiction of the “sun and stars” is featured on page 49, under the title “The World of Symbols“.
It’s a lovely book and it has inspired many of my adventures.
